LNF Investigations has branched out to Vail and Grif is a bodyguard for a millionaire's daughter. I love all these characters so even if there is some predictability to the story (how many original stories are there really?) there are enough twists to keep your interest. I have read JM's stories over and over and can't wait for the next one. I like how she writes about the disabled veterans and how they feel trying to get back into civilian life. She has given me insight into them, who we owe more than we can ever repay.
You can never go wrong with this author's books. The Lost and Found series is one of the best military series I've read. Grif was guarding Kendall when they gave in to a night of passion. When they find out she's pregnant, she's beside herself with worry. It couldn't come at a worse time. Her father was retiring and she's in line for his job if she can persuade the board to accept her. When Grif proposes in order to make them appear a legitimate couple, she finally agrees. It does seem like the best solution for both of them as well as their child. Neither one of them counts on falling in love. Great characters, great romance and a really good way to keep the series going.
This book focus on Grif, he is a disabled Marine veteran turned bodyguard. In fact all the bodyguards are the same disabled Marine veterans. You will see Grif, doing his bodyguard work but he falls in love and he has trouble showing people his amputation of his arm. This is a very moving book, I loved it has a Marine Wife, this book hits home. I love how this heroes are written to sill be the Heroes they are even know the war changed them, either physically or mentally. Pick up your copy today, I loved it and I bought all her other books as well.
Not really impressed with this installment of the LNF series. Right from the start, I didn't like Kendall. She was a spoiled ice queen who lost all my respect and interest when she bitched to her dad about his hiring "disabled" security. I was ready to stop reading then and there. I made it through, but only in case something worthwhile happened with someone we've previously met.

It got better towards the end, but I don't feel it added anything to the series (other than the update on Ortiz). The latter part of the story is the only reason I bumped up the rating from 2 stars to 3.
I love JM Madden's Lost and Found series! Each of the books highlight an individual vet who works for the agency. The characters are rich and well developed. Most fall into the romantic suspense category as they have great plots that keep you on the edge of your seat at times. I own all the books in this series and am waiting on the newest one to be released. You will find yourself anxiously looking forward to meeting each and every one of them. You will also find yourself re-reading these books frequently. They are THAT good! I hope the series continues on for a very long time.

This particular book was a little different than most of the others...but the same, if that makes sense. Not wanting to give anything away so no spoilers here. Suffice it to say, you won't regret reading it.
Such a sweet romance with Kendell desperate to prove herself capable of running her fathers company and Griff as her bodyguard, these two have explosive chemistry. When Kendell finds herself pregnant with Griff’s baby he is fast to step up to be a part of his baby’s life and these two navigate their way through marriage, getting control of a company and having a baby. It is a beautiful love story.
Wonderful romance !! Grif and Kendall are destined to be together. Grif, ex Marine with the LNF Security Group is guarding Kendall, ex model and heir to a huge business. Her Dad is stepping down to take it easy after a couple of heart attacks. Of course the "good ole boys" of the company aren't sure of her capabilities. Hunter, especially wants to take over. This book is a deeper story if you read the "Embattled" series books, one and two. Deeply thought filled characters, with an interesting plot with twists, and super hot sex make this story worthwhile. Grif and Kendall are attracted right away, and in a weak moment they both give in to their lust. Later they find out she is pregnant, but that's fine with Grif, he wants her anyway he can get her, and this makes it happen. Lots of action, a crash, the evil step mom gets her due, and the precious baby is fine. Sweet surprises and true romance are amazing. Loved Grif. Highly recommend. ENJOY !!!
